It's Time to Tangle: Double Cursive Tangle Drawing · Craftwhack

Tangle drawing time! I'chiliad so excited to be wrapping up my four-role series of cartoon games/projects from my book, Tangle Art and Cartoon Games for Kids! This has been a blast sharing all these with you guys, and I've seen a lot of yours and your kids' drawings, which never ceases to make me feel a trivial emotional. (Did you know I'one thousand a sensitive blossom?)

On to the tangle project, and I'll link to the other 3 projects in the serial below.

Equally you lot may have noticed, my brand of tangling is non exactly Zentangle, only more than of an exploration into all things doodly fun. While I savour seeing all the unlike Zentangle patterns people come up up with, and how they put them together, I am non nearly patient enough to play by the rules. I like to sort of merely while the hours away… scribbling in some patterns and colors I like…

This tangle project I've come up with is great for kids, beginners, or if you lot only want to make a finished tangle piece that doesn't take all day.

Y'all need white card stock and ultra fine point Sharpies. I also used two finer bespeak markers because they were a little easier to hold together.

You concur ii markers together and write a give-and-take in cursive, then tangle within the spaces.

I would take a few plain sheets of newspaper to practise writing with ii markers, and y'all tin totally impress instead of writing in cursive, I merely liked the menstruation and connectedness of the cursive writing.

In my volume, I used blue and cerise together to write my word, but filled in the discussion with tangles of regal. Do you fifty-fifty get the art riddle? Blue and blood-red make purple? Become it? Sympathize my brilliance?

Here I decided to go all colorful… I used pink and orange, one of my favorite colour combinations, together for the give-and-take. Then I used most six different colors to tangle.
You lot tin ever break upwardly your spaces inside the letters into smaller areas if you don't want to tangle a lot in one space, simply it's really a small area you are tangling hither. I like to think of information technology as minimalist tangling. Tangle lite as information technology were.
